Who we are

MoBe Ship is a shipping platform. Businesses use it to buy shipping labels for the orders they need to send out, and to track those shipments.

What we collect from a connected store

When you connect a store, we receive the information needed to produce a shipping label for an order: the order number and date, the recipient's name, delivery address, email address and phone number, and the size and weight of what is being sent. We also store the connection details for your store so we can keep reading new orders.

We do not collect payment card numbers, and we do not read anything from your store that is not needed to ship an order.

What we do with it

We use it to create shipping labels, show you your shipments and their tracking progress, bill you for what you have shipped, and help you when something goes wrong with a delivery.

Who it goes to

Delivery details are sent to the carrier that will carry the parcel, because the carrier needs the recipient's address and contact details to deliver it and to contact the recipient about the delivery. The carrier handles that information under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your data or your customers' data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Shipment records are kept for as long as your account is open and for up to seven years afterwards, because they are also the record of what you were billed and are needed for tax and dispute purposes. Store connection details are deleted when you disconnect the store.

Asking for deletion

Email hello@beta.mobeship.com from the address on your account and tell us what you want removed — a single recipient's details, everything from one store, or your whole account. We will confirm within 30 days. Where we must keep a billing record, we remove the personal details from it and keep only what the law requires us to keep.
